Please bring back the unlock feature

We have plenty of problems with files lock because files get automatically locked but in many cases not automatically unlocked when the document is closed. That used to be no problem as it was possible to manually unlock the file via the three-point-menu. However, that feature disappeared. Please bring it back fot the time automatic unlocking doesn't work properly.

Yep this is a problem for us. This is still an issue in NextCloud 29.0.2

+1 the automatic unlock feature is failing when the client suddenly looses the connectivity with the server and after a few moments the connectivity is restored.

The DEV team could implement this to fix the issue.

For files locked automatically by the clients, https://github.com/nextcloud/files_lock/pull/391 will add the option to force unlock
