Can't open MS Office 2016 document

I just noticed that I can't open a Office 2016 document with the community server. I can't verify if this is a a general OnlyOffice issue or only a issue with our community server as the "Supported Formats" matrix only shows docx but no specific MS Office version: https://helpcenter.onlyoffice.com/ONLYOFFICE-Editors/ONLYOFFICE-Document-Editor/HelpfulHints/SupportedFormats.aspx
