"What's new" in user manual out of date

so it was obviously not updated.

Question is what to do about it? In general, recently there are no obvious changes and many depend what features and apps are enabled. Not sure if we should keep it. so either:

• write about the changes specifically important for users (can be short)
• just link the general release note on the blog
• remove this, just add such a page if there are important changes
