Socket syntax unclear for dbhost variable

The current documentation has a slight oversight when using unix sockets for the database connection https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/latest/admin_manual/configuration_server/config_sample_php_parameters.html#dbhost It looks like specifying 'dbhost' => '/path/to/socket' should be sufficient but that actually results in an internal server error with "Name or service not known" in the logs (or sometimes not, somehow). The correct syntax appears to be 'dbhost' => 'localhost:/path/to/socket' or even 'dbhost' => ':/path/to/socket' though I am not sure the latter syntax is portable across all databases.
