Same under Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, KDE Plasma X11 Version output: Nextcloud version 4.0.1-20251029.160431.e81c242e13-1.0~jammy1 Using Qt 6.2.4, built against Qt 6.2.4 Using Qt platform plugin 'xcb' Using 'OpenSSL 3.0.2 15 Mar 2022' Running on Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS, x86_64
@ralfhauser thanks for the report
I would like to know what graphics card you're using and which drivers are in use for it
also, could you generate a debug archive from the settings window (there's a button in the General tab for that) and upload it to https://cloud.nextcloud.com/s/x7P63CzbWzSALyE ?
Same issue here with the deb version on Ubuntu, but not with the AppImage :
- nextcloud-desktop 4.0.1-20251029.160431.e81c242e13-1.0~noble1 from https://launchpad.net/~nextcloud-devs/+archive/ubuntu/client
- Ubuntu 24.04.3
- X.Org v: 21.1.11 with: Xwayland v: 23.2.6
- Sapphire Radeon RX 580 Nitro+ graphics card, using amdgpu driver
The "create debug archive" button is grayed out.
I would love to try and reproduce the bug with older client releases, but I can't find older deb releases.
I tried the AppImage release from https://download.nextcloud.com/desktop/releases/Linux/Nextcloud-4.0.1-x86_64.AppImage, which does not reproduce the bug : the window displays as expected when clicking the systray icon.
I'm also having this issue with nemo-nextcloud apt version on Linux Mint 22.2.
