⚠️ Before submitting, please verify the following: ⚠️

Bug description

The status bar icon is displaying a yellow exclamation mark, the tooltip reads "a problem was encountered": Image

At the same time, the settings dialogue for virtual file system reads "all synced": Image

It remains unclear if there's any problem, or what kind of problem this might be.

Access to VFS structure is possible, though performance and stability varies.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Upgrade Nextcloud desktop client to VFS edition, version 3.14.1
  2. Enable VFS sync
  3. Wait a while

Expected behavior

If there is a sync problem with VFS, display information about this problem in the relevant tab of the settings window. If there is no problem with VFS sync, display a green tick as statusbar icon.

Additional info

I'm happy to share debug logs with authorized personnel, but I don't like to see data about server names, file structure, etc. on a publicly available bug report. One entry that occurs repeatedly strikes me odd: 2024-10-09 11:52:30:240 [ warning nextcloud.gui.macos.fileprovider.xpc.utils /var/folders/yr/9dx0mtfj7kdf4725tmcz6md80000gp/T/macos-26087/src/gui/macOS/fileproviderxpc_mac_utils.mm:222 ]: Error getting remote object proxy Error Domain=NSCocoaErrorDomain Code=4099 "The connection to service created from an endpoint was invalidated: failed to check-in, peer may have been unloaded: mach_error=10000003."
