The same tray icon issue also started to occur on Debian 12 / Cinnamon after upgrading to 3.11.0 (flatpak)

Update, in an attempt to get a working desktop client, I uninstalled the system manager flatpack and re-installed the system manager flatpack. Problem persisted. I then uninstalled the flatpack and installed the appimage 3.11.0 from Nextcloud website. This restored my tray icon to working. If I can assist in troubleshooting further, I will.

Hi, I did a downgrade of the flatpak:

flatpak list flatpak remote-info --log flathub com.nextcloud.desktopclient.nextcloud sudo flatpak update --commit=08e53a14920ec5b626ff13a7c65f41185241cbcdd5a3e5dd5646a27393433236 com.nextcloud.desktopclient.nextcloud

Hello, Same issue. The downgrade explain by @stullekovski solve the problem... So the problem is in the last flatpak version

Same exact problem is present after latest flatpak update (3.11) not only on Cinnamon but on Gnome 43.9 / Debian 12 Stable (Bookworm)

Problem persists after upgrade to Mint 21.3. I had problems with Nextcloud's appimages, now I'm having problems with the flatpak version. Quality control seems to be an issue with both delivery methods. I did not ever have any problems with the apt package version. Please make this available again.

Latest flatpak update fixed it for me! (3.11.0 0e8b9427)

Not for me tho:0( My client says it's at the latest level on both beta and stable channels. The downgraded version 3.5.4 works fine. Please let's have the apt package back!!!

Correct for me too with 3.11.0.

Update of mine: it works now with 3.11.0 on Linux Mint 21.3 Cinnamon (x11) latest updates.

Think it's because of these latest updates (but not sure, didn't look at the icon right before the update) grafik

Still not there on Raspberry OS Bookworm with Wayland. All other systray icons show fine.
