Subscribing to cards to stay on top of activity

When other users change cards, e.g. move them between lists, update the due date, or add attachments or comments, I only find out about these things if they don't forget to explicitly mention me, or if I make an effort to check every card at regular intervals. Neither is a sustainable path and it is impossible to stay on top of a dozen cards if I want to get actual work done and not constantly check cards.

It would be good if I could subscribe to cards, such that I get notifications whenever these are touched in any way.
