#CRM: comment contacts

I don't need a fully-fledged CRM but it would be cool to comment on contacts. So I and my collegues can store some data with the contacs. Comments have the advantages that they
- are an existing feature
- automatically show the commenting user
- automatically show the timestamp
Describe the solution you'd like
In Outlook I use the comment field to achieve something like that. But there I have to add my name and timestamp myself.
But maybe it would be cool, if the comments in Nextcloud were stored in this comment field, so external apps can access them - at least for reading.

External CRM. I don't need all the features.

If you use the existing comment app and add it to contacts - please make it possible to enable/disable it for files and contacts, so I can choose to use it for contacts but not for files.
Hello, thank you for opening the issue. I have some questions to make the feature clear:
- would the notes field be possibly enough for your use case
- Is the content of the comments expected to be synched with the cardDav server or just on the Nextcloud instance
That being said once the feature is a little clearer, it's unfortunately not planned but we would welcome any contribution, I'll make best personally to help review it , giving pointers.
I use the comment field in outlook for this purpose. But it's really a rather primitive solution - better than nothing.
Syncing isn't a priority. If it was possible, that would be cool, but I don't even know, how e.g. my smartphone app should display these comments.
I just want to document things like "Called. Is out of office until xy" for others to see in Nextcloud.
