Options for accessing and syncing collectives/notes between different apps or programs
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I have been using multiple note taking apps including a desktop program and a program on my phone but my largest collection of notes are kept in the NextCloud Collectives app. I really like the Collectives app and have been using it for years. Over time I have found it more and more of an issue to have different notes in different places and started looking for options to sync them. I have been playing around with different options and have been disappointed to find that unlike the NextCloud Notes app I cannot just point some other compatible notes app to the folder and work on the same set of files with a third party program.
I have been testing using the NextCloud Notes app and find that Collectives does not pick up on any files or folders that Notes puts in the folder. I am guessing it has a database where it stores what files are its and ignores everything else. Can any Collectives experts verify this?
So that makes it look like there is no way to connect the Collectives data to any outside or third party notes program or app. Unless I am missing something, this means I have to migrate away from Collectives if I want to sync with any desktop or phone apps.
Describe the solution you'd like It would be nice if, kind of like the Notes app, Collectives could share its data set with other programs so they could be accessed and edited from a phone or desktop. It seems to use the same Markdown syntax as Notes and some other programs so that part does not seem to be an issue.
Describe alternatives you've considered Sadly I believe this means I am going to have to migrate to the Notes app if I want to be able to sync them with my desktop program or phone.
Thank you.
