CLI purge or auto-purge

Hi, I'm not sure I understand how the purge works when configured in the Retention Policy part of the settings. Do we have to trigger the purge manually? If so, what is the command? If not, there may be a bug or misconfiguration on my side, but older backups are not removed based on the values in Retention Policy

Thanks for asking. The same happens to me: I have a very long list of restore-points locally at /var/www/html/data/appdata_oc9jph1q0ymk/backup

and also on my external storage (webdav). My configuration is set to 2 local and 8 external backups. But there are over 100 local directories and 20+ on the external storage.

Actually, I'd like to purge all and start a new set of backups. How would be the right approach?

have you tried using occ backup:point:purge ? I'm also looking for this function too
