Finer-grained access control for Request Signature

When I setup an approval workflow, I need to define the group of users (or the users themselves) that can request the approval. Thus, only those users will be able to trigger the workflow.

It makes sense to put in place the same restriction for the Request Signature action, as of now if the Docusign integration is enabled all the users have access to it.

This functionality would come naturally if signing the document would be considered one of the possible ways to approve a document.

Sorry for the late response. Between your post and my response the docusign portion of this app got moved to a new app. If what you are asking for is only allowing certain groups to sign documents that would go to a different repo now https://github.com/nextcloud/integration_docusign/, but if what you are asking for is having the signing be a way to approve the document that would require some discussion.

Thank for taking the time to answer to this feature request after such long time. Your question is clear, but unfortunately I'm not able to answer you as I would need to spend time on the approval app (I never used it since then). So basically, feel free to move it to integration_docusign if you think it's better.

In my opinion we can see signing as one of the possible ways to approve, and Docusign would be just one of possible signature providers.
