@AndyScherzinger If I understand it correctly, these are the screenshots from: https://github.com/nextcloud/screenshots/tree/master/android/Files
- How would updated variants be created? Is it a manual step to capture screenshots and add some text above them, in all the different languages? Or is there a script somewhere?
- If updated in the repo, would they find their way into the Play store?
And, when we are on it, we could also provide screenshots in F-Droid. I am not sure yet how to do it exactly, but
- these are the docs https://f-droid.org/docs/All_About_Descriptions_Graphics_and_Screenshots/
- and as a reference, https://github.com/nextcloud/notes-android does show screenshots in F-Droid, so we just need to replicate whatever that app does.
Though Play store has priority here. I guess most F-Droid users are already aware of Nextcloud's benefits
I am happy to help, if I can contribute, @AndyScherzinger please advise.
Hi @PhilLab ,
To my knowledge @tobiasKaminsky has updating the Screenshots on his agenda / too list. I lack the detailed knowledge on how he did it create them back than.
