@mhzawadi Hello
Could you try with this QA version: https://github.com/nextcloud/android/pull/15806#issuecomment-3425661915 ?
have installed, will report back as soon as I can

@mhzawadi It is good to perform testing using the QA version only. Having both the stable and QA versions may potentially cause conflicts. However, if the stable version is important for you and cannot be removed due to user-specific configurations, it is acceptable to keep it while testing the QA version.
had to delete the QA version as it got stuck in an upload loop. But it has uploaded the missing images
Same here with the QA version. I've checked to 'skip existing files' but it continues over and over again. If you want the logs I can send
@kevinvanhooren1977-sys You can upload your logs to here. Thank you so much for the feedbacks. It is a public link, please be aware and remove any sensitive information.
To add to this, was looking at my wife's phone yesterday and found that its not uploaded 2 days of photos.
Last upload was 11th and the next batch was the 5th, but there are photos in between that are missing and not listed in the upload list.
@alperozturk96 I've reinstalled the QA version and choose one folder to upload with the options: create sub folders, upload existing files and skip upload when file exists. Log uploaded.
Little update: the one folder I've selected is completely synced now. No upload loop anymore and the upload list with failed uploads is empty too. I will start second folder now
Any news? I removed the QA app because it started syncing over and over again
@kevinvanhooren1977-sys Hello. Yes, we are working on the issue. Thank you for the logs. It helped a lot.
First PR: https://github.com/nextcloud/android/pull/15861 Second PR: https://github.com/nextcloud/android/pull/15862
@alperozturk96 I've tested the 15862 but still the same. At first the folder synced very fast but after I took 5 pictures with my camera, it started syncing the complete camera folder all over again.
@kevinvanhooren1977-sys Can you share the logs?
I will send tem as soon as I can. So what I did:
- install the app and activated automatic uploads for the camera folder only. Options checked: upload existing files, use subfolders and skip upload when file exists
- it started to check the folder and succeeded
- then I tried 3 times to take 5 photos. The complete camera folder was checked again and started uploading the whole folder again. The new photos were uploaded succesful.
This is what I get in the upload option and also the settings I used. I also tried to uncheck 'upload existing files'
still happens with the latest app version.
@joao-merkle
Hello,
Version 3.34.1 does not include any fixes related to auto-upload. The fix will be included in version 3.35.0. In the meantime, you are welcome to try the latest development version and share your experience with us.
Thank you.
@alperozturk96 when do you expect that version to be rolled out?
Hello
@MatthiasJSchmidt @joao-merkle @kevinvanhooren1977-sys
We released the RC versions. Auto-Upload logic completely redesigned. Could you please try with 3.35.0 RC2 and share your feedback with us?
Thank you very much for this job. I've tried to install but this package conflict with the one already installed on my phone (Samsung S9 degoogled with /e/OS). I've tried to get it but downloading the APK with firefox and by Obtainium too. My girl has the problem of photo sync on its Samsung S21 (full stock) and she can install it with Obtainium.
So I hope I can provide you some feedback soon.

Will do it tonight. Results will follow! Thank for all the hard work, everyone!
Installed RC2 and I can confirm auto-upload is working without any problem. Tested it with taking a few pictures for my auto-upload folders and it was uploaded right away. Tomorrow I will try it while working. It's more intensive! I will keep you posted!
