No more email notification for changes in own calendar

- Edit your shared calendar
Expected behaviour
All users (including the one editing his calendar) should get an email notification about the change.
Actual behaviour
Owner of the calendar gets no more email notification.
Server configuration
Operating system: Ubuntu Server 20.04.4 LTS Web server: Apache2 Database: MySQL PHP version: 7.4 Nextcloud version: 24.0.3
Upgraded from NC17 to 24.0.3 a few days ago. We used email notifications to inform users about changes in shared calendars and also sent an email notification to the user responsible for the change as the calendars are synced and worked upon on cell phones. The email to the editing user was sent as confirmation that syncing to the server has worked fine. The checkbox for email notifications for own actions is missing in settings now and notifications are only sent to all other users except the one editing his own calendar. Is there a way to get back mail notification for the editing user? If so - how?
