Add previews to notifications & notification eMails

I wondered if it were possible to add a configuration option which allows adding previews of uploaded files to the notifications and notification emails.

Instead of the generic .svg for a file, it would be nice to have a thumbnail, especially for media content. For photos & videos, an inline preview image for the email notification would be the best.

For files like office documents, a file type icon like already used in the web UIi would be nice.

The notification app itself is not interacting with files. Can you post a screenshot so we can see which notification provider might be the one creating them?

Sure :) In my case, it might be two providers:

1. I set up notifications

to inform me of changes to shares 2. I set up a flow to notify me of new files created with a specific system tag

The files uploaded appear in my activity flow with previews, but in both the notification tab in the app and email just with a generic + symbol. This appears true for both the flow based & share notification.
