"autohide" option - value for time seems to have no effect

Setting a value for the timing of the autohide option seems to have no effect. Its always the same time. When autohide is disabled I can't toggle the display of the controls.

What I actually need is this:

• autohide = false
• click (/tap) to toggle the display of the controls - they keep their status when I move the mouse, goto next previous slide, etc.

I need the controls only on the iPad (no keyboard) or on the PC when the keyboard is out of reach ;-)
