Description

The README tab does not render emojis within the nr1 github application

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Set the repository url to https://github.com/newrelic/docs-website
  2. Swap to the README tab
  3. Notice that the emojis show up as odd text artifacts or random characters Example: Screen Shot 2021-03-19 at 3 37 20 PM

Expected Behaviour

The emojis should be rendered correctly, see screenshot below. Screen Shot 2021-03-19 at 3 45 19 PM
