Elixir open-source agent and Heroku New Relic add-on

We have an Elixir app running in Heroku, some months ago we set up the New Relic Agent, and everything seems to be working as it should. Lately there are intermittent 500 errors in the application logs: [error] new_relic_agent - error_event_data: (500) unexpected_response - <Doctype html>

This may have something to do with Cloudflare: collector-003.newrelic.com | Cloudflare Error 1101 RAY_ID an unknown error occurred while rendering the page.
