Lock Screen When Lid is Closed

I would like the screen to lock when I close the lid. I'm not sure why this doesn't happen. My screen locks when the display sleeps, and the display sleeps when I close the lid, but for some reason the screen doesn't lock when I close the lid. I'm not sure if this is due to a bug, or intended behavior, in which case this would be a feature request.

Hi! Does this only happen when KeepingYouAwake is running?

Did you maybe set a password delay in the System Preferences > Security > General tab?

Hi, sorry for the delay. This happened on my macbook before I updated to Big Sur. Yes, it only happened when KeepingYouAwake was running.
