Due to my and Pouria's job duties I am considering adding more active maintainers to support project future development.

I guess the app is doing what is should be doing. No vision for now, except that Django could support Markdown internally ;)

Any ideas?

I don't know if the offer still stands, but I use this project at work and I'd be interested in helping maintain it. Primarily I'd like to have compatibility with recent/upcoming versions of Django. I could also help with triaging issues.

ping: Is this project Dead? There's been no release since 2019 (~2.8 years), and it's throwing RemovedInDjango40Warning because it's using django.conf.urls.url() in its urls.py
