Future CI : “Golden Models” / “Feature Demos”

Goals

• Try to build a knowledge base of NEURON features -> help users

• Reach the best possible code coverage -> help developers

Background

Initial idea was to select ModelDB “golden” models that can be used for testing #923

• Solves the issue partially but it’s not feasible to run on every PR

• Very little added value for end users

Context

• What if we start contributing examples showing various features?

• Cover maximum possible features over the time

• Can act as a good resource for end users

Foreseeable impact

• Could be a separate repo

• Need help from everyone (especially domain experts!)
