dialogue pop ups button shape
don't know if this is a bug or actually a feature, but since the last update to the extension I got from com.mattjakeman.ExtensionManager to version 43, the shape of this buttons has changed from the regular one to this
If this is a feature it would be nice to have an option to revert this back to normal, as I haven't been able to find one
I also had this question. I wasn't able to find a setting that changed the shape.
Hello,
Earlier the buttons used to be along the bottom edge of the popup, which I prefer as well. In the newer version of Gnome, the buttons are moved inside the popup, in the position where they are visible in the screenshot. The shape of the buttons by default has some corner radius along all the four corners. It looked a bit off and so I tried to keep it similar to older Gnome but did not change the new position since it may have some purpose. Having said that, it currently does look more opinionated, so I will make it similar to the new Gnome default. Later I can add some options to change it.
Unfortunately, I am quite tied up these days and so haven't been able to tackle the recent issues. I will take it up when I get some time.
Thanks for reporting!
yea, giving more options in an extension that is so much about customization can only be good. Another example for this I think would be the switches in gnome to turn on and off some options (screenshots below). This extension changes them a bit making the "body" of the switch slimmer than the knob that moves within it, while I kinda prefer it the way it is normally in gnome
