MATLAB Version recommendation

Thanks for creating this!

Quick question - what version of MATLAB would you recommend for maximum compatibility? I'm using 2019a, and I'm getting a fair number of errors that I'm guessing are due to MATLAB not being super great at backwards compatibility. Thanks!

@briankardon, did you ever get it working? Is choosing the right Matlab version still a concern?

@briankardon @MHRosenberg shoot, I totally missed this issue, so sorry! Bento runs fine for me in 2020, so I don't think backwards compatibility is the issue.

That said, it does have its fair share of uh, eccentricities (hence our efforts to switch to a more professionally coded Python version, out sometime next year.) If you paste the specific error messages you're getting I can try to address them!

It's available at https://github.com/neuroethology/bento, see the "getting started" section for installation instructions and a tutorial. It currently supports viewing of video/some neural recordings, and creating, editing, loading, and saving annotations.
