Alters the DokuWiki html on purpose?

When I enable this plugin, I'm losing some of my css styling. The reason is that the DokuWiki html is changed, with <div class="level1">, level2, etc. disappearing. Maybe not an issue for most users, but I rely on it to style different sections, and don't understand why this plugin needs to change it.
