What's happening with this PR? Are we confident enough that it can go into a bugfix release or should it be moved to 0.16 @softhack007 ?
0.16 is already moved over to Tasmota
This would certainly help reduce the risk for those that (unwisely) use port forwarding to expose WLED to the internet. I would not help anyone that uses a reverse proxy...

This fork has been replaced by the MoonModules fork. You can find out more about the audio sync at https://mm.kno.wled.ge/soundreactive/sync/
You definitely want to retain the ability for the AP name to have the mac address based suffix
Still good to remove our local copy unless it is a fork with custom tweaks
