Reversed sorting order for times

Open Spreadcat opened this issue 5 years ago • 3 comments

After using ATimeTracker for a while, the list of entries for multiple tasks have been quite long. I find myself often scrolling to the very bottom of lists to update/changes existing times.

I'd like to either see an option in the settings where the sorting order can be reversed or the default being that the latest time stamp is on the very top of the list. Older entries are rarely of that high interest as the latest one and should come later down the list.

You are not talking on the list of activities on the main screen right? Those are currently sorted in alphabetical ascending order.

Your question is about the activity times that you see when you view the times for an activity, right? You know you can change the date range and thus only see the times for lets say the current week or the current day so that there might not be that many to scroll past or perhaps you have many time ranges for the same activity even in that case?

Correct, I don't mean the list of activities.

I guess I missed the date range filter. I remember seeing it briefly at the beginning when starting to use the app, but forgot about it later. That would be at least a workaround. I guess if I remember writing my hours at the end of Friday and sett the filter to "current week" or do it on Mondays with the setting "last week", I can save some scrolling time.

Thanks for pointing me to this setting.

Though I'd still like to see a way of reversing the sort order, I consider this problem as solved. Feel free to close the issue if you don't see an improvement in this feature.
