Mac compiled with Metal gives gibberish

It's a mac mini intel, so it probably has bad video card, but it shouldn't just fail with gibberish.

Any suggestions?

that's what I'm using. Built with there .sh script. I'm using the master branch, is that safe?

sorry I had no idea metal was available mac intel, I will try to check on my old laptop
