What is the motivation / use case for changing the behavior?
Do you have any plan to make multi language document page?
Do you have any plan to make multi language document page?
We would love to support more languages eventually. For now, if anyone is interested, you can just create a separate branch with lang-X
and slowly translate the content. Anyways, maintaining multiple languages can be difficult, that's what we are aware of too.
I got something on that fork (https://github.com/wenderpmachado/docs.nestjs.com/tree/lang-pt-br) for the PT-BR translation. (only 4 files until now)
Is there anything else I should do?

@kamilmysliwiec how do you plan to manage localization? We can include all the markdown files inside a folder e.g.content/en/*.md
and then just request it dynamically (related issue #549) or publish translations per branch on Netlify?
can you tell me how to contribute ? I wish to translate to french in my free time, it will result on a better understanding of the framework for french people PS : (I never contributed before, so I don't how to contribute)
Hi! I'm bringing this issue back. I'm a French developer who loves writing documentation and has multiple experiences with translating. I would be very happy to contribute to this project, as NestJs is more and more used in France and there is still no French translation.
I don't think there is support for any language other than English. Is there any plan to manage translation ? I have never used dgeni. If anyone could suggest an idea, it would be very useful.
Hi, I'd love to get in touch regarding the French translation of Nest documentation. I have already started working on it to showcase my involvement.
Current translation is made on a copy of the official repo by replacing existing EN files, see this repo. I made the translation available on Netlify (see here). You can quickly check translated pages (13 as of now) on this project.
I would appreciate the opportunity to receive any feedback or guidelines, and maybe discuss the integration to the offical repo using i18n or something as I do not possess the knowledge to do it myself.
Hey, any update on my previous comment?
Regarding the FR translation: about 35% of all pages are translated and someone joined the effort so that makes two dedicated people :)
@Lou8is I can also help with the french translation I am a native french speaker and would like to contribute
@Lou8is @pacyL2K19 I am a native french speaker also and would like to contribute.
Thanks for reaching out! Please check https://github.com/Lou8is/docs.nestjs.fr to work on the translation, many issues are pending including small ones.
Please ask any question there if needed, I'll be happy to help you get on board.
