Is force-bridge-eth repo abandoned?

I saw no code updating of the force-bridge-eth repo. Is it abandoned? Fore-bridge-eth uses a decentralized and trustless ChainRelay way. Is the reason the ChainRelay is expensive to maintain block headers of SPV proof and verification cost expensive?
