Adding option to select different entity for Current Temperature

Adding a current_temperature option with the ability to specific an entity

Here's my situation : My thermostat is located "technically" at the right place, in the middle of the house. The problem is that the temperature in each room isn't the same. For instance, in the afternoon my office temp can go as high as 26-27C when the living room will be near 21C and they are facing West.

My ultimate goal would be to use temperature sensor that I would place in each room, do an average temperature and use that value on the thermostat so it changes his behavior based on that temperature instead of his own temp.

FYI, I'm using Infinitive as a climate entity.

Thanks in advance !

@CptnWookie Did you ever manage to get a external sensor working using this thermostat card?

@wvergouwenavular negative. In order to make it work I'd need to be able as well to overwrite the rear temperature by the thermostat and Infinitive doesn't allow this. I'd need to take a look at the code and see if there a way over the API to post a value cause I know I can change the fan speed, HVAC mode and adjust the target temperature but not the current temperature.

Do you have any development on your end?
