Removing ( unused ) icons in card

Is it possible to hide or remove icons in the thermostat card that aren't used. For example the cooling option hence I don't have an airco.

This all depends on the entity that is linked. If you link the entity to the stock HA thermostat card, it will probably also show these options, can you confirm?
