Indian currency formatting?

Hi,

As far as I can tell, this currency formatting library doesn't seem to support formatting money in the manner specified by the Indian numbering system or at least what wikipedia considers the Indian numbering system. Are there any plans to add digit separation as another parameter for formatting?
