Dimension settings update won't update the session storage

After updating some dimension settings (e.g. remove a dimension) in the settings.yml of my site package neos doesn't update my browser session storage. In result the dimension menu in the backend doesn't reflect my actual settings.

Testet with Chromium 50.0.2661.75
