Deleted files reappear

Did anyone have this issue before. I've been trying to solve it for a long time but can't seem to find a solution. The files get deleted from the iCloud and locally without any errors. However, on the next iCloud sync those deleted files are downloaded to the device like they've never been deleted. I made sure and double check that they are deleted both locally and in the cloud.

I even tried to delete them multiple times on each refresh if they reappear. But they continue to do so. After a while, if I stop using the app after deleting them and don't sync the iCloud, the files can finally be gone. Sometimes takes hours, sometimes days.

It didn't happen in earlier versions of iOS, I believe it started in iOS 11.

Any ideas?

Check #86 Adding a closeWithCompletionHandler before deleting worked for us.
