tmux-continuum automatic restore not working with appimage 3.3 and 3.4

Hi, noted that the automatic restore provided by the plugin tmux-continuum works with appimage version 3.2a provided here, but it does not work with 3.3a and 3.4 manually compiled with docker.

It works fine if instead I compile 3.4 from tarball https://github.com/tmux/tmux/wiki/Installing#from-source-tarball

Maybe there is some missing deps?
