Gif don't play when it is a second page

Steps to reproduce

1. Set page layout to Double pages
2. Set orientation to Landscape
3. Go to a manga that has a gif Sore wa Rei no Shiwaza desu Chapter 5 has a gif on page 24

Expected behavior

The gif should play

Actual behavior

The gif doesn't play

This also Happens to my phone. I can't remember if the gif plays when its the first page but when its a single page it works fine. Phone: Samsung Galaxy S10 SM-G973F Neko: v2.13.3 Android 13 LineageOS: 20-20230526-Nightly-beyond1lte 411 dp

Is this still an issue? It is page 23 and it is working for me.

This still happens on my tablet and my phone. I set it to right to left and it looks like Fig 1 then I see the gif on the left side and the manga page on the right. When the gif is on the left page (when reading mode is set to Right to Left) is doesn't play the gif animation (eyes Blinks). if the gif is right page (Still in right to left reading mode) it plays fine. To see this in action Switch it Fig 2 and move to the last pages. At lest for me the last page disappears for some reason but the gif starting playing.

Reading mode

when I switched the reading mode to left to right the gif doesn't play when it is on the right side of both pages.
