Add an automated reminder for people who have signup queue items but no ticket
(only in conventions where tickets are required, natch)
@dkapell @marleighnorton We didn't actually do anything with this before Intercon X signups, and I'm thinking this might actually be a feature, not a bug. What do you think?
It was mostly there so people didn't add things to their queue, thinking they were all set, but forgetting to actually buy a ticket. So if that's not a problem people are having, it's fine.
They definitely are having that problem, but we manually contacted them ahead of signups to make sure they bought tickets and that seemed to work out reasonably well. We could for sure make this easier (for example, adding an automated nudge email a day or two before signups process), but I'm thinking that being able to build up a queue before buying a ticket seems to be a workflow users want.
I really like an automated nudge email + maybe a report to find these people as a solution here.
I'm cool with an automated email as a solution.
