If I may add to this.

It would be nice to exclude items from the menu, like a reverse checkmark to add items the menubar. Some scenes I won't enable through this app (like going from home). Just add an extra column in the scenes preferences.

Grouping would be very nice: group them by room or by part of the day. Let users add seperators (like between pref's and quit). If you could drag things around in the scenes preferences to your liking.

Thanks for the suggestions, can you elaborate on what you mean by "part of the day".

You're welcome! :)

Yes, sure. Some have scenes based on the time of day. So in stead of organising things by room, they organise by "Morning" (lights on, heating on, etc), "Afternoon", "Evening" and "Nighttime" (heating off, lights off in living, lights on in bedroom).

Oh that's super interesting. I'm not sure I have that information but I'll check. I'm thinking manual ordering will be best to solve all these unique cases.

I'm trying to maintain simplicity and have good UX around it.

If you make the preference pane 'scenes' manual sortable that would be a great solution. The ability to add separator lines and disable scenes from the menu would be perfect! And simple to use.
