Feature request: display status (e.g. temp) in drop down menu or menu bar

First of all, thank you for this great app.

What I’d love to see is the status of a device either in the menu or even in the menu bar. My use case would be the value of a temperature sensor to check the temperature in a particular room. However, I have no idea if this is possible and how much work that would be.

I'm considering adding devices. It does present a UX challenge of maintaining the simplicity of the app.

My first take at this would most likely be lights, but I like the idea of having status of sensors. Besides temperature is there something else you'd like to see the status of?

As I’m currently only using thermostats for my heating I have no other use cases. Maybe others can come up with more ideas?
