Scenecuts pulls deleted scenes

Open KeshavMadhavan opened this issue 4 years ago • 8 comments

I love the concept of the app and use it all the time now. I just find it a bit weird that the app pulled all the scenes that I have ever created and not just the ones I currently have. Could there potentially be a feature to delete scenes from the app? Thanks

Yeah I noticed this in testing, if you tap the scene it should delete it from the list.

I'll try and see if there is a way to determine if it still exists.

When you mean tap the scene, do you mean click it from the preferences? Tried doing that and nothing happened

Sorry I meant trigger the scene from the menu bar list or with a keyboard shortcut if you have one assigned.

Hm, I've tried to trigger the scene through the menu bar list and keyboard shortcut and it doesn't appear to be deleting it. Also, another issue I've come across is that the app seems to quit itself after a couple of hours. Not sure what to do about that.

Okay, I'll look into the old scenes, also I'm working on submitting this to the App Store, which I think should resolve some of these issues.

Let me know if there is anything specific you find that causes it to crash.

Thanks 🙏

Sure. Will do

I would also like to be able to delete old scenes. I have culled a lot of scenes from Home app but they still appear in Scenecuts

Alright let's do it. I'll add a simple way to manually delete scenes and try to automatically clean up as well.
