Show position of image as overlay

The google earth chrome plugin shows a globe with a pin at the position for the image. That would be nice to have as an option.

I'd like it to be like the chrome extension, a clickable globe which links to the coordinates

There is a map in the extension preferences that shows where in the world the photo is from. It's a flat Earth though :)

I did look into something more dynamic like the Google Earth globe, but I didn't think it was worth the time it would take to implement. Happy to accept patches, or suggested projects I could use though.
