Unable to restore on rooted device (or emulator)

Due to whatsapp's efforts to not support rooted devices they've hidden the buttons to restore the chats from google drive if the app knows the device is rooted,

so unless your chats are all in your rooted device already then you need to dodge the root checks from whatsapp - I'll update this thread if I get around it.

Still haven't found a way to dodge it, Magisk (with DenyList) + zygisk seems to be the latest way to hide root status and whatsapp is still able to catch that so I'll probably give up
