having this problem as well. +1. Especially a problem if your javascript files are generated and have source maps because the last line of the file reads `//# sourceMappingURL=***`

+1, any status on merging this?

Was also having this issue, for myself it was not actually an error but the output was not showing, this was due to me running it in WSL on Windows...
