Confused: LM7905 output to B3 +5v?

Hello! I have been looking at implementing the voltage-blaster to have in a separate project I am working on and was looking over the schematic in KiCad. I am a little confused about how it works though, or wondering if there is an error.

When looking at this the +12v line goes into the LM7905, but then the output connects to the VCC instead of the -5v. The readme seems to state that it connects to pin B5 but the schematic shows B3. It seems the LM7905 should also be connected to the -12v on input which is also referred in the readme.

Just hoping to clear this up so I understand what I am doing with this.

I am still interested in this question. Maybe there is an error with KiCad and the repo files?

seems to be incorrect, VI should be connected to -12v and VO should be connected to -5v
