X input mode works with android and PC

When conecting to the PC with the dongle shows this instead: ShanWan Xbox360 For Windows (STANDARD GAMEPAD Vendor: 045e Product: 028e)

According to the Amazon listing only Android mode supports Bluetooth, so this is the one you want to use. Since it mentions Bluetooth 4.0 it's probably a Bluetooth LE controller, which won't work with release builds. I have ones with LE support available on discord for testing.

I installed MissionControl-0.13.2-ble-bond-29650987.zip from Discord. The results when testing each controller connection mode were as follows:

• Android Mode: The controller does not connect to the console.
• iOS Mode: The controller connects to the console, but the controller icon on the console flickers when pressing certain buttons. It does not allow confirming pairing (it’s as if it detects that buttons are pressed but not which ones).
• PS3/PC Mode: The controller connects to the console but does not recognize any pressed buttons.
• X-input Mode: The controller connects to the console and recognizes all buttons (the A/B and X/Y buttons are inverted as expected). The only issue I observed in this mode is that the button combinations MINUS + DPAD_UP and MINUS + DPAD_DOWN for the CAPTURE and HOME buttons do not work (I don’t know if this is a known issue).

I will leave the issue open in case you want to investigate that problem, otherwise you can close it.

Share your log from sdmc:/mc-mitm.log so I can take a look a what's happening in those other modes.

The only issue I observed in this mode is that the button combinations MINUS + DPAD_UP and MINUS + DPAD_DOWN for the CAPTURE and HOME buttons do not work (I don’t know if this is a known issue).

This is expected. I haven't implemented the combo for BLE controllers.

here is the log mc-mitm.log I think I've had the module for a while, but it was these days that I decided to try it out. If you need another log with just the controller tests, let me know.
