@koffeinvampir I remembered what the "technical term" is for "things that make the game nicer to look at, but don't affect the gameplay (and aren't 'effects')": "Doodads". Creatures that have no effect on game play are called "critters".

Anyway, we need to integrate the doodads that we have into the game.
