Feature request - mark comm associations (X setup into Y commutator)
I am proposing a new feature (which can probably be a bit hard to implement) - listing associations between the currently browsed commutator in regards to other commutators. What I mean is a feature similar to what bldbase has
Upon searching a commutator, the user would be presented with the possible association(s) between the listed commutators (for each row) and other cases. This could be either a new mini row, or an entirely new column (to the left of the existing table view?). I didn't really consider about how to present it in the UI in an accessible form, given how there can be multiple commutators/algorithms available per given case. Some rows would not have a setup association available at all (MU / RU / LU gen spam etc.)
The option should probably be toggled on/off in settings and present the user with either piece notation eg: R setup to UFR UBR UBL or letter notation from the users scheme, in this example it would list R setup to BA (if the user's scheme matches speffz) or R setup to GD (for chichu). Of course this would need to accommodate custom schemes for any tangible benefit.
I think this feature would make understanding comms at a glance much easier for the users, as well as making blddb a more complete resource.
I am considering the UI design. It works well for PC users, but for mobile phone users, there might not be enough space for an additional column, as the current grid is already quite compact. Adding a new mini row also makes the layout less clean.
Yeah, both the implementation itself as the UI designs are not simple, would totally be okay if you don't go through with this, as the effort to me seems quite large.
