Does it show the error only once per account or does this persist over a longer timeframe?

I just pushed a hotfix that will print the account name and a warning. In the future this should also remove the account from the rotation.

I have the assumption that this is in fact be a rate-limit. In cbea6b37e4ea187b1f9da4671e5c1e440e8d81ba I pushed a change, which will print a warning if that's the case. Please report back...

For me, those errors just disappear after some time.

I am only getting these errors very occasionally: ![image](https://cloud.githubusercontent.com/assets/1723176/17516871/38c9d46a-5e41-11e6-8045-44ffe26363a1.png)

This is definitely not an IP-based ban. It seems to be per account. So adding more accounts should actually resolve this, because the time between requests on the same account...

If this were IP-based all requests would fail, instead of just a few. The errors are soft account bans, as @johved describes.

These guys have figured it out a bit: https://www.webmasterworld.com/search_engine_spiders/4729148.htm For goaccess it should be sufficient to check for FBAN/FB_IAB and the proceding string that specifies what app is being used...

Here's all user-agents from my logs that contain "FB": https://hastebin.com/ulifeliwic.apache
