Closing this as although we may be able to do something here, it doesn't appear that tracking it as an active issue is helping move it forwards :-)

We're working on this now for Seq 2023.4. Better late than never! :-)

@peabnuts123 a fix would be welcome if you can track this down, I don't have anything to add.
